So for the most part, you have scrum meetings at least 3 times a week to keep track of who's doing what according to the tickets that come in through Jira. In the beginning, the leaders will assign you tickets, but once you feel comfortable they expect you to be able to assign yourself work. From then on, it's just a race to try to produce the necessary web elements (code them up in HTML & CSS, then publish them on Salesforce) and keep the team Jira board empty (which does not tend to happen, but can). I definitely enjoyed the people I worked with and still continue to talk to some of them to this day. Finally, depending on how well you do, you can really produce banners that appear on the main site's home page or on their best selling products, meaning that your work is front and center of a multi-billion dollar company... as an intern. This is partially because nobody, except those on your team, will know that you are an intern.  

Oh yeah, the deals you get are pretty sweet and you get a free pair of shoes at the beginning, but trust me with the discount you get, you're going to become a sneakerhead without a doubt. 

Just to be clear, it was only worse because it seemed too basic for what I know I can do. Therefore, for a complete beginner, this would be a good internship to get an introduction into what web development is like in big companies because you have the advantage of working on projects that you will actually see on New Balance's website while getting your feet wet with common WebDev Tools.
