My experience

Overview

Co-managed an overseas team to build multiple email automations to aid senior portfolio managers, build multiples dashboard in support of the consumer split, Business Planning, and other products. Also made a 1:1 meeting system for current co-ops & interns to connect them with employees internally.

Not quite sure how it happened, but I ended up becoming a sort of TPO during my time here, so my experience might be different compared to others. I'm still working with J&J at least until the end of December. If you work hard and provide a lot of value, many teams will allow you to work beyond the summer/initial contract.

Pros

Fantastic culture (dependent on team), flexible hours, friendly people, decent pay.

Cons

Not interesting work. I needed to take initiative and come up with my own projects if I wanted something more exciting. Intern & Co-op program office are slow to respond.

How did working remote affect your experience?

I was technically fully remote but went into the office anyway.

Interview questions

Asked about courses and projects on my resume, the J&J Credo, why do you want to work here, etc. Not very hard but I'm not great at interviewing.

Advice on how to prepare

Definitely know the J&J credo.
