My experience

Overview

Most of my job was editing engineering drawings and compiling reports for management. I did do a little bit of design work and mechanical testing, which was interesting. I also cleaned 3D printed parts and created packaging instructions for products.

This internship just wasn't for me, I was alone for most of the day and didn't feel too engaged with my work. I was also the only intern on my floor which was pretty isolating. They have had people really love it though so I'm sure other people could enjoy it.

Would recommend it to people who...

Enjoy independence and working on metering systems

Would NOT recommend it to people who...

Like to collaborate with others

Impact of work

How much knowledge or experience was needed going in (pre-requisites)?

Time spent working

How did working remote affect your experience?

It was alright but they didn't know how to handle it well so it ended up being a lot of busywork

Advice on how to prepare

It was pretty laid back, so just be prepared to talk about yourself and have some questions ready.
