My experience
Overview
Data entry and data processing. Quality control and editing documents for clients at the beginning. Moved into writing reports and making presentations for client meetings. Worked on CAD edits to design documents, and planned footprints for new construction projects. Walked through construction sites. Day-to-day was lots of CAD and excel. Downtime was spent in training for softwares, and reading about the technical side of work.

Are flexible and willing to work on a variety of projects relating to water and water treatment. Also to people who are social, and willing to meet with the client frequently. Also to people wanting to figure out what side of the business they fit into.
Would NOT recommend it to people who...
Want a consistent and predictable workload, or who want to be only in the office (lots of field time), or who want to focus on the technical skills (lots of business development and client care involved)
