My experience
Overview
I did SEO audits for nonprofit organizations, helping them get more users on their sites to get more exposure. I used tools to identify areas of weakness and organized it into a deck presentation. I also helped with the agency's client reporting.
Pros
I learned digital marketing from this experience. Part of my job was to complete the certifications in google and I got a lot of project ownership and hands-on experience.
Cons
The work is not for me, the bulk of the work is done by a tool and there wasn't a lot of thought. It's also a very small company and I interned during the pandemic so business was not exactly booming.
