My experience

Overview

Data visualizations and analysis to identify product trends. Heavily focused on revenue and key performance indicators. Designed a dashboard to track all of this.

No

Pros

Culture was amazing, people were amazing, office was really nice, my manager was very supportive, pay was great, team was very supportive, and the products I worked with were interesting as well.

Cons

Virtual environment, extremely busy, fast paced (not necessarily a bad thing), fairly large learning curve, and lots of regulations (comes with the payments space).

Impact of work

Time spent working

How did working remote affect your experience?

Being remote definitely made it harder to network naturally. Everyone was busy, so sometimes it was hard to find time to talk. Still, all Mastercard employees were really open to booking time to talk. We also missed out on the opportunity to get to know the other interns. We did an office visit for three days which significantly improved the experience. Getting to meet teams, interns, and see the office really brought the experience together.
