My experience
Overview
I worked with my team to develop an app that streamlines data collection and implements analytical tools to provide more valuable information regarding a Ranger's progression in their fundamentals as they train for the 1st Ranger Battalion. We used the Scrum framework to organize our tasks, prioritize, and keep ourselves productive as we reached the Minimum Viable Product.

Advice on how to prepare
Personally, I would tell them that they be the best version of themselves and have good relationships with their professors as well. A lot of the selection process depends on how you explain your past experience as well as how you conduct yourself as a self-starter.
