My past experiences in leadership in organizations are very conversational and not difficult at all.
Advice on how to prepare
Attend career fairs, and research with intentionality. I wasn't knowledgeable about the company and interviewed with this one and a few more during a career fair, in a sense "throwing things at a wall and hoping one sticks" This was the internship out of many I interviewed with that reached back out to me and I figured well, why not? Although I had a positive experience, this is not a good approach for your internship search. Research companies and search for them intentionally rather than mass apply.
