Overview

Aid the New Product Development Team with new process implementation, process optimization, and new products that are a work in progress

Pros

Good taste of actual process engineering Variety in the type of work being done Your work is meaningful for the company

Cons

Plant can get very hot and humid Plant smells bad everywhere from the process itself

Would recommend it to people who...

Want to know the real world of engineering and manufacturing and like a variety of tasks to complete, also for those who like seeing that their work has meaning

Impact of work

Time spent working

Interview advice

How did you find the job / apply?

Interview Rounds

Interview type

Interview questions

The main questions asked were to just get to know me as a person and student and to see if I would fit in with the rest of the employees. Some technical questions, but nothing that would have been a make or break. It turned into a more conversational-type interview by the second interview, discussing basic aspects of the plant and processes

Advice on how to prepare

Mechanical knowledge is a very helpful tool in industry. I had some mechanical knowledge, but not nearly enough to walk into a project and get it easily and quickly completed.
