My experience
Overview
Developed code for Starlink Satellites, specifically code that ran on the vehicle including calibration procedures. Can't really describe much other than that. I worked with various teams that had interest and direct needs with my project that impacted the ability to provide internet service to new regions.
Pros
Working around some of the most highly skilled software engineers I've met, great people and culture, super open to new ideas from employees, a very self-directed environment with high standards, the problems you get to solve/experience are insane, other interns were a lot of fun
Cons
SpaceX consumes your life to some extent, I worked less than my coworkers at 48-52 hrs/week, out in Redmond and not in downtown Seattle
