My experience

Overview

I performed major leak testing for the entire DMOS6 facility to help account for wasted helium. I also helped commission a new PVD machine by running the necessary spec testing and presenting data to management. On the side, I helped install new cooling systems for the controller boxes to limit overheating of the electrical wiring.

My manager was very helpful and I had a very supportive team. While my initial project list was quite long, there were several delays in the project timelines which shrunk my list down a lot. I liked that he kept an open ended project for me to find on my own and help me discover my own findings. Overall, I liked the environment and I liked learning about the process technology, but I felt that I didn't have day to day work.

Would recommend it to people who...

Are generally interested in more mechanical engineering projects.
