My experience

Overview

I streamlined a process to get potential suppliers into our database. I worked directly with the suppliers and got to visit some local sites. They did not let me fly out of state suppliers, so it was all local.

The company culture varies from office to office, I'm sure. I was in Mormon country aka. provincial Utah so the culture there may be jarring to many.

Pros

Got to improve my soft skills dealing with clients/suppliers. I had a great boss who communicated exactly what was expected of me, so there was never any surprises. They operated on a 9/80 work schedule so I got every other Friday off to travel!

Cons

Upper management made sexist remarks against female employees. No sexual harassment training is given on a company wide level.
