Very motive based. Why finance/why legal, past experience.
Advice on how to prepare
Know why you would want to do it. Knowing about asset management a little bit helps. Be okay with the fact that this sort of experience by itself generally doesn't translate to getting into a top seat, but is good introductory. If you are interested in law, on the other hand, this is a great experience.
